I’ll be covering the robocall committee meeting tomorrow from 11am-1pm for the Vancouver Observer. The Procedure and House Affairs Committee will hear testimony from the CEO of Elections Canada about the alleged voter suppression during the federal election. There are currently more than 50 federal ridings where voters have reported misleading live or robocalls. A legal challenge of the election results has also been mounted by seven ridings where the results were fairly close and voter suppression could have had an impact on the turnout, if it indeed took place.
